Job Description

You will maintain the weekly forecast and delivery plan information for the assigned Business Unit, in order to achieve a perfect flow of information and goods between customers, sales, sales support, product manager and the factories. You will report to the Demand Planning Manager and have a second reporting line to the related Product Manager.

Your main responsibilities will include:

– Weekly maintenance of the consolidated forecast in the planning systems (GDMi);
– Review supply plan in the ERP system compared to forecast;
– PSI preparation (inventory, SP, Shipment, Sales Trend);
– Lead/prepare and actively participate in weekly S&OP meeting with Sales, Marketing, PM, SCM;
– Prepare and participate in collaborative planning session with key accounts;
– EOL/NPI Management;
– Solve inbound and purchase related issues;
– Run monthly consensus forecast meeting with Sales, Marketing, PM, SCM;
– Allocate sales allocation over accounts, handle shortages and avoid excesses;
– Analyze and respond to over-forecast requests, promotions and spot offers;
– Analyze channel Inventory, sell out and sell through data to create forecast, avoid excess/shortage inventory;
– Provide quantity forecast information and drive changes to consensus forecast based on market, target and business review;
– Maintain forecast reports for visibility, accuracy and timing of business information to enhance planning, forecasting and operational decisions;
– Utilize internal and external market and promo activities data to enhance sales forecast accuracy;
– Back up other PG’s;

Who are you?
– Bachelor or Master’s degree related to SCM;
– Two to five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international sales environment;
– Fluent in English and Korean both verbal and written, Dutch is a plus;
– Knowledge of and experience with demand planning;
– Good understanding of the market;
– Able to have an overview between the commercial process and production planning;
– Good knowledge of MS Office applications (excel) and MRP based logics;
– Strong analytical skills;
– Excellent communication skills;
– Flexible;
– Team player;
– Presentation skills;
