Technical Support Engineer

What will you do as a Technical Support Engineer?

As a Technical Support Engineer you are part of our Service Team and you fulfill a crucial role in the service process between external service partners, customers, dealers and our internal organization. Your responsibility is to provide technical information and specialist support to ensure optimal service to our customers. You report directly to the Service Manager.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Following up and resolving technical escalations;
  • Manage and communicate new technological trends in the CE market;
  • Maintaining relationships with customers, service centers and head office;
  • Monitoring the performance (KPIs) of our service centers;
  • Coordinating service activities for Home Entertainment and Home Appliances products, especially new product lines;
  • Providing technical support for translations of user manuals, menu structures and internal systems;
  • Detecting, investigating and reporting product quality within the Benelux market;
  • Supporting and training field service engineers, service center engineers and call center agents;
  • Act as a 3rd line helpdesk for the call center.

What do we ask of you as an ideal Technical Support Engineer?

  • Excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both oral and written;
  • Familiarity with MS Office;
  • Proactive, convincing, resilient and solution-oriented attitude;
  • Team player with an MBO education and at least 2 years of technical experience.
