You are involved from the moment that the research goal has been clearly agreed with the client, and you remain involved up to and including the presentation of the results and the evaluation of the research.

What does a day as a Research Analyst look like?
An ongoing study starts with the programming and extensive testing of questionnaires. This is followed by the preparation and monitoring of (international) fieldwork; this fieldwork is conducted online or over the phone by a fieldwork partner. You then take care of the analysis of the results in SPSS, which you spend a lot of time on. You check the data extensively and analyze it, after which you report the results and draw conclusions. In most cases, the fieldwork is quantitative and the interviews are conducted by phone or online. Sometimes you participate in qualitative projects, where in-depth interviews are conducted or group discussions are held with experts.
It varies per project how much time you spend on average on things like programming and analysis. You regularly work together with the Project Manager, the Fieldwork Coordinator and (international) fieldwork partners; various projects are running together, varying in size.
You not only work on projects with direct colleagues from your team, but also on organization-wide projects with colleagues from other teams.
What we expect from you
- HBO/WO working and thinking level
- 1-8 years experience
- Experience with SPSS is an advantage
- Affinity with market research
- Good command of the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
- Analytical, perseverance, punctual
