The Consumer Insights Specialist plays a critical role as the voice of the consumer, supporting the organization in making fact-based, consumer-driven decisions that positively impact the business, products and brand. Consumer centricity is central to the organization’s core values.
Responsibilities
The research projects focus on various business issues, including positioning, needs identification, concept evaluation, creative development, copy testing, product and competitor testing, customer insights and habit and practice studies. This function supports the Consumer Insights Manager with larger projects and will eventually take on smaller projects independently. Research helps the organization, among other things, to design products that meet the real needs of consumers, to position new products successfully and to strengthen advertising campaigns.
Tasks include:
- Collaborate with colleagues in marketing and other departments to support quantitative and qualitative research methods that answer business questions.
- Coordinating research projects to support product categories, products or teams.
- Help formulate clear research objectives, results-based decisions, and decision criteria to achieve business goals.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously within set budgets, including international research.
- Maintaining contracts and invoice management for projects.
- Analyzing and interpreting research data to make a positive impact.
- Communicating research results through workshops, presentations and reports.
- Working with some degree of independence and support.
- Introducing innovative research methods that have impact.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Product Development, Marketing Communications and Project Management.
- Stay up to date with consumer trends and market insights.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

- Required Education and Experience:
- At least a bachelor's degree
- Specialization in market research or a related field
- Approximately 3+ years of relevant work experience

Excellent project and time management skills.
Working independently and proficiently using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
