To support our expansion and foster client growth globally and regionally, we are seeking a new Business Development Director.

This position is based in Amsterdam, with global stakeholder collaboration.

Your Role

To strengthen our team, we seek a new colleague passionate about selling our solutions and engaging with various stakeholders. You'll work in an international environment with a proactive role in achieving our growth targets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with key stakeholders to develop business with existing and potential clients
  • Construct and follow up on client proposals
  • Prepare and deliver insightful presentations to stakeholders and, occasionally, to clients
  • Collaborate effectively with the project management team and act as a sparring partner in methodological questions and storytelling
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction by understanding and maintaining all deliverables
  • Identify potential problems and propose proactive solutions to meet stakeholder and client needs
  • Support the enhancement of existing products
  • Occasionally represent us at conferences and external workshops

Your Profile

  • Minimum of an HBO degree (eg, Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, Communication, Economics)
  • About 5 years of working experience
  • Interest in quantitative (ad hoc) market research
  • Passion for delivering business insights to meet clients' needs
  • Quick learner of new tools
  • Responsible, proactive, and energetic individual with strong relationship-building skills both internally and externally
  • Excellent team player with superb interpersonal skills
  • Mature and able to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and results-oriented
  • Willing to go the extra mile with perseverance
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong client relationship building and sales development skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, fluent in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proficiency in additional languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Danish, German, or Dutch is a plus
