Job description:
As a Legal Counsel you are responsible for providing legal advice and support to various departments within the company. Your main duties include reviewing and drafting contracts, advising on legal issues relating to commercial transactions, compliance issues, intellectual property and employment law. In addition, you will be involved in managing disputes and legal proceedings, updating internal policies and providing training to employees on legal issues.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Law (LL.M.) from a Dutch university.
- At least one to three years of relevant experience as an in-house Legal Advisor or at a law firm.
- Proficiency in both English and Dutch is required.
- Demonstrable expertise in Commercial Contracts is essential, preferably with knowledge/experience in the field of Competition Law, Data Protection and/or Employment Law.
- Excellent ability to work independently and thrive under pressure, with a service-oriented attitude.
- Skill in quickly analyzing and interpreting information, with excellent communication skills.
- Accuracy, reliability and professionalism are essential, with a flexible attitude.
Activities:
- Draft, revise and advise on contracts, support negotiations and oversee contract management.
- Provide legal assistance in disputes and manage external legal counsel.
- Managing compliance risks and organizing compliance training.
- Providing legal advice and support upon request.
