The answer is simple: people are not happy or satisfied with their current employers. Many companies wait until someone is considering leaving before they begin offering benefits improvements, promises of growth, or other ways to retain them.
But what if companies trained their employees well and treated them well from the start? Then our job as recruiters would be much harder.
