Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the internal IT tool used for take-back data reporting and provide periodic analyses of product, Battery, and Packaging weight data and related take-back cost.
- Provide support for other environmental data reporting and 3rd party audits (e.g. F-gas, substance information, etc.)
- Handle general or product-specific environmental inquiries from diverse stakeholders in collaboration with relevant subject matter experts in the team
- Maintain and update internal database of all legal requirements relevant to WEEE, Battery, and Packaging take-back compliance in different European countries and update Global Headquarter and Business Units on new developments in relevant EU Directives or Regulations
- Support the European sales subsidiaries and their branch offices to ensure that they are fully compliant with national take-back regulations and relevant registration, reporting, payment, and quality assurance obligations.
- Conduct ad-hoc market research into electronic product recycling and circular economy-related best practices
Personal Profile
- – A relevant Bachelor/Master degree (or equivalent) in environmental/electrical/electronic engineering or environmental law/economics/business administration with interdisciplinary approaches;
- – Ability to organize and analyze large data-sets and deliver analysis in time; Knowledge on IT system operation for data management is a plus
- – Strong motivation for getting involved in regulatory compliance management in the field of environment/sustainability/circular economy; 3-5 years of work experience in relevant industry preferred;
- – Fluent in English both verbal and written communication; an additional European language is a plus
- – Good communication and presentation skills;
- – Excellent planning and execution skills with attention to details
- – Proactive attitude and adaptability
- – Commitment to quality of work and personal integrity;
- – Advanced user with MS office (Excel, Powerpoint, and, preferably, also Access);
